Help me help Oregon's MD, DO & PA students

Hi all,

I wanted to do something to help make Oregon a better place to live, work, play and receive a world-class medical education. When I learned about the challenges facing many of my peers, I knew I had to help.

Did you realize that the cost of a medical education has risen at twice the rate of inflation - doubling every 9 years? And it is not uncommon for students to graduate with over $250,000 in debt. As if that weren't enough, around half of graduates are reporting symptoms of burnout, and even in a good year 40% of students experience food insecurity. All of this impacts students' ability to focus on their education and retain the knowledge they will need as they care for patients.

OMEF believes that all of Oregon's MD, DO & PA students deserve every chance to do their best, and their scholarships have become a literal lifeline to hundreds of students since 2012.

OMEF was there for me when I needed a helping hand, and that's why I created a fundraiser to support their scholarship fund - and you can be a part of supporting the next generation.
